Traversing an intricate path…

Tue Sep 9, 2008, 7:37 PM
Last weekend I was with :iconscarfoo: and :iconyappykat:, had some few drinks and watched some movies, the first movie was a quirky one, entitled 200 pounds of beauty, it was funny and yes it is one of those movies that is typical with a girls’ slumber party, and it was Korean. I had good laughs watching the movie, that it made me watch the movie again when I got home… hahaha! The second movie was a tad morbid, satirical, unexpected, confusing, and have some sexual innuendos, it’s an Asian movie dubbed in English, couldn’t remember the title thou, :iconyappykat: knows the title, the movie revolved in the context of revenge through vengeance after death “sadako” style, all the characters where in portrayal of professions in the medical industry specifically nurses and doctors, actually just the two of those. It’s the type of movie you’ll watch just to deviate from the mainstream, from Hollywood or from what not movies out there.
Anyway, while at :iconyappykat: place, we decided to take some portrait shots in low light, without a tripod, and without a speedlight, and as I’ve expected most of the shots if not all where a disaster, at least for my point of view, it was a learning experience. Although the misfortune happened, I still sport a enthusiastic spirit, everyday is a chance to capture moments, every mistake is a learning experience and most important of all, its plain fun exploring this new found hobby.
